We use much of our green waste for riverbank reinforcement, as well as tree branch waste placed in strategic areas so that it will have the time to decompose and eventually become part of the riverbank. In this way this waste becomes a vital part of the land, fortifying it, aiding its sustainability. And selected plants can now be planted to provide erosion control. We now have areas along the river where the bank has been raised by 4 feet where it had previously eroded.
